My name is Charles Gauthier - originally from Maine (a maniac), former troubled teen, eccentric pauper and retired school teacher. But I have been extremely fortunate with the people who have shared my life (my family) and they have tolerated my many divergent pursuits - such as photography, video editing, writing and of course bicycle riding. Read on.

Photography

From having a professional photography business (North Light Studio) from 1972 through 1986, I have always had a camera with me , and the result has been a huge number of excellent photographs. I still continue taking photographs even with the latest in digital equipment. Check it out.

Video editing

Having digitized tons of VHS tapes (always had a camcorder around) and then DV tapes, I now use the latest technology with digital video and have very powerful editing software (Magix Video Pro 14) to continue making interesting family and story telling videos. Enjoy!!!!

It was 1961 (seriously) I was cutting class (in college at the time - Tennessee Tech) and while walking into the town of Cookeville along the railroad tracks a story line came to my thinking - about a character named Ennua who lived in someplace in the future and he committed the only crime against "the ultimate beauty" (I was taking a philosophy class) and he was found guilty and sentenced to . . . . . . . well, you'd have to read it!!!!
